Edgerton Kids

Surrounded by dogs since they were born, the Edgerton kids have had no choice but to love and enjoy dogs and the dog business. A Place for Paws was conceived in the months before Elizabeth's birth and celebrated its Grand Opening when she was one month old. 

All the kids have shown and trained dogs. Elizabeth enjoys the competition of the dog shows and has recently shown one of the greyhounds to its championship. Serena loves the challenge of training any dog that comes along and loves almost all dogs (except the jumping up ones). Jacob appreciates all of the dogs and enjoys playing and roughhousing with the daycare dogs most of all.

The kids are involved in many aspects of the workings at A Place for Paws. They have attended the daycare dogs, done cleaning and painting duties, helped with yard work, and worked at the show booth. Jacob has helped out at the processing plant and is particularly gifted at working with tripe (PU!). 

The kids look forward to learning about dogs and business from A Place for Paws for many years to come.
