Although some people successfully switch their pets to raw feeding overnight, it is usually advisable to make the change gradually. You can start by offering a small amount of ground meat mix, gradually substituting this for the whole meal. After a week or two, you may want to add raw meaty bones. During this time watch your pet's stool. Often the stool will be soft and covered with mucus. This is normal during the transition from kibble to a raw diet.
CAUTION: If your pet is old or has previous immune or digestive problems, he/she may need extra enzymes and probiotics added to his/her raw food. Please ask us for advice.
