| How often should my dog come to daycare? |

From five days a week to twice a month Many of our clients come to daycare every day. Dogs who are home alone for long periods of time and dogs with separation anxiety benefit from coming very frequently. If this is your dog's only outlet for work energy or if it is his sole source of exercise, he should be in daycare from three to five days a week. If your dog comes to daycare for the social aspect only, he will easily benefit from one to two days a week. While some dogs can visit very infrequently, say once a month, and enjoy their daycare time, most dogs need to be in daycare at least once every week or two to 'stay in the groove', and enjoy themselves. Many of the dogs form relationships with other dogs and look forward to their friends coming when they are there at least once a week. |
