A good rule of thumb is to feed your pet 2% to 3% of his/her body weight per day. This general rule can be modified to suit your individual dog. By monitoring the condition and weight of your pet (check ribs and waistline) you can increase or decrease his or her daily rations as needed

The amount of food should be based on the total amount of the combination of all food fed to the dog including bones.  For example - A 50 lb. dog should be fed between 1 and 1½ pounds of food for the day. This could consist of ¾ lb. of Beef & Bone Mix and ¼ cup of Vegetable Mix and a medium sized Bone.
