Using a Clicker is an easy and fast way to train

We use and encourage the use of clickers in our classes because clicker training is far and away the best way to get a dog trained, trained fast and to enjoy it in the process. Most clicker trained dogs are extremely good at picking up new behaviors and have a great attitude when practicing old ones.

Although we encourage clicker use, we do not insist that all of our clients use a clicker. For some people it is far too hard to handle the clicker, the treat and the leash and listen for information. We will suggest those folks use a marker word (like, Yes!) instead of a clicker when training.
