Welcome to A Place for Paws Steps A three step obedience training course with each level scheduled at a different time and teaching different skills. You and your dog progress through each level at your own pace. Each level has specific skill requirements that must be met prior to advancing to the next level. A Place for Paws offers a three or six month pass for use in the Steps training program. You may attend any class, at your level or lower, an unlimited number of times during the pass period. Steps Program Advantages • Students may start Step One at any time so there is little wait getting started. • Since all dogs in each level are at the same stage of training, we can better address the needs of each dog. • Students are able to work at their own skill level for as long as necessary. • Students can revisit a lower level at any time to brush up on previous skills. • If a student finds that time off is unavoidable, it can be taken without the frustration of feeling that you have fallen behind since you can return to the same level you left. • After completion of Step Three, students can continue training at any level.
