Does your dog know sit?

Skill Level:  Beginner & up

Try this challenge to find out about and how to improve your dog’s skills!

1.  Use a hand signal only to get your dog to Sit (no voice command).

2.  Use a voice command only to get your dog to Sit (no moving hands).

3.  Have your dog sit in every room of your house.

4.  Take your dog outdoors.  Practice Sit in at least five different places.

5.  Have your dog Sit while you count to five.

The idea of the challenge is to improve your dog’s skills.  If your dog doesn’t succeed the first try, make it easier for him!  Try luring him a couple times to get the behavior or take him to a less distracting area.
